Where do our logs come from?
All our wood is sourced locally from woodlands we manage in South London, Surrey and Sussex – We do not import any wood!
Buying imported logs is not an environmentally friendly option – wood is bulky and heavy – transporting wood over long distances negates any environmental benefit of renewable energy.
Our logs are processed using green electricity and are naturally barn dried. We do not kiln dry our logs as the kiln drying process uses energy, releases more carbon into the air and is expensive!
Buying our logs guarantees you are supporting vital woodland management in your area, whilst reducing your carbon footprint – Burning locally sourced wood has a much lower carbon footprint than using fossil fuels or imported kiln dried logs for heating!
Our logs are certified by HETAS as “Ready to Burn”.
